Technical Requirements

• Before installing and configuring RCSnews version 4.3, ensure the systems you will use meet the minimum hardware and operating system requirements:
• P4, 2GHz or greater Processor
• 2GB RAM
• 1024 x 768 dpi Screen resolution
• Network Interface card: 100 Mbps
• Available COM ports to receive news service wires
• Operating System: Windows 2000 or XP professional, XP, Vista or Windows 7 These are minimum requirements, so feel free to exceed them. Get as much power and free space as you can. For Internet connectivity and servers, RCS supports a Microsoft® network using TCP/IP using a brand name, server quality computer.
